FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Lake Point services seniors that require assistance managing chronic health conditions and/or physical disabilities. The average age is 75. The residents at Lake Point enjoy socializing with other seniors, playing board games, and interacting with the caregivers and our executive chef.
Lake Point offers multiple activities daily at the community based of resident preferences. We also organize activities outside the home that include going to the local senior center, shopping, and dining at local restaurants.
Lake Lewisville is within walking distance of the community.
We partner with Integrity Transportation for medical appointments, personal social outings, and group activities in the surrounding community.
Our Executive Chef completes an assessment after each resident moves into the home. All meals are prepared with fresh ingredients daily per the resident’s physician suggested diet. The open concept of the home allows our residents to watch, smell, and interact with our Executive Chef daily.
The home is in a beautiful gated community in Frisco, Texas. The home completely ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. We have a call system that a resident can activate anywhere inside or outside of the home. We have cameras in all the common areas of the home and outside the home. We have staff on site 24 hours per day that are awake and trained to meet all resident care needs.
We have open communication with the resident and family that are involved in their care. We send emails monthly regarding scheduled home activities. We update physicians involved in the resident’s care with monthly current orders and plan of care for the resident. The caregivers are available to answer questions regarding the plan of care and daily care needs via telephone or during facility visits. The Executive Chef is available to answer questions about our menu and meal options, Monday through Friday during the day.
The caregiver to resident ratio on a routine shift is 1 to 4. We adjust our care staff to meet the resident care needs as needed. If a resident requires more care temporarily for any reason, we adjust the staffing ratio on all shifts as needed.
We accept pets that are 20 pounds or less for an additional fee monthly. The resident must be able to meet all the pet care needs independently. The staff do not care for pets. We have a gated area outside in the backyard of the home that can accommodate pets.
The staff complete 24 hours of computer based and hands on training under the supervision of the Manager and/or the Director of Operations. All staff complete ongoing continuing education monthly and as needed.
Lake Point Fiddler’s Green Community doesn’t accommodate resident’s that wander at this residence.
