Thrive at Green Island is an assisted living facility in North Columbus that believes life enrichment is an essential component of any good care plan. At this community, seniors can spend their retirement days working up a sweat in the high-tech fitness center, eating freshly prepared food in the chic on-site restaurants or exploring the landscaped grounds via the walking trails. Assisted living residents have access to 24/7 care from experienced nurses and caregivers, and every member of the dementia care team, from the housekeepers to the registered nurses, are NIDE or National Institute for Dementia Education certified.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our residents range in age from mid 60's to mid 80's. They love music and social hours! We have happy hour every Friday and they LOVE going to Walmart!!
We believe that music therapy and having an active lifestyle is the key to a long, fulfilling life!! We have live music at least twice per month and we offer exercise classes 3 times per week!
We are right in the middle of the everything! Within a few miles drive you will find a Fresh Market, Target, Stein Mart (shopping!) and Publix...just to name a few!!!
We drive our residents to and from their doctors appointments for no extra cost!!! It's all included in our monthly rate!!
We are proud to announce our "THRIVE Cafe Menu"!! We offer "chef inspired" alternatives for every meal to give our residents variety. Our new "Featured Chef Selection" will be focused on our residents favorite recipe or the Chef's speciality menu items. "Taste of the Town" will feature our residents favorite local dining selections without leaving the community!!
Every family member and visitor must sign in and out to access our building. After 8:00pm our doors will be locked for the safety of our residents. Visitors may still access the building via phone access or ringing the community doorbell to alert staff for entry.
Our THRIVE "News Flash" serves as an email information vehicle for reminders, updates or changes that need to be announced to our residents families. THRIVE "Newsletter" is a monthly announcement for the upcoming and past exciting programs, events and news provided on a monthly basis.
We normally average 4-6 team members each day on memory care and assisted living. During the evening hours we have at least 3 team members on each memory care and assisted living.
We are pet friendly!! We have 3 park areas on our community: Idle Hour Park (memory care), Benning and Flat Rock Parks are on Assisted Living!
All team members have been through NIDE (National Institute on Dementia Education) training. We also require continued education through Collins Learning.
We have our concierge who monitor our doors throughout the day. Our gates are secured around our community and we lock the community doors at 8:00pm.
