General and dementia-specific on-going monthly training. First aid and CPR.
We are on a variable shift schedule; the care of our residents determine the number of team members each day along with their shift schedule. This does not include the Life Enrichment managers, department managers and the wellness team that are also available when needed.
We believe in open communication and reach out to the residents' families monthly or when we see a change in condition. Family members are welcome to ask about their loved ones at any time. We have monthly wellness visits and multiple Wellness Program which aid residents in their activities in daily living.
We do not have a direct affiliation with a hospital, however, we can refer families to various sources including, hospitals, doctors, skilled nursing facilities, a variety of therapies, hospice agencies and more.
We are located within walking distance to a community hospital, police and fire station along with a park. We are surrounded on two sides by single-family homes and overall the grounds are very lush and serene. We have many shops and restaurants within close proximity, including doctor offices, banking to name a few.
We offer adaptive dining ware to allow resident more independence in their dining experience. We also offer special diets including pureed and mechanical soft; an encouraging and supportive environment is provided and assistance in dining is also available.
