The fifty private apartments of Spring Village of Danbury lend to a home-like community environment. The freedom and privacy of living in your own home is combined with many amenities. These include personal care services, medication reminders and education from our Wellness Center, laundry, housekeeping, scheduled transportation, planned social activities and exercise program, religious services in our chapel, salon services, and gourmet meals in our gracious dining room or large country kitchen.
Spring Village of Danbury offers spacious studio and one-bedroom apartments each with their own kitchenette which includes a full refrigerator/freezer. We strive to provide comfort and safety in each apartment which has a 24-hour call system, a private bathroom with large walk-in shower and grab bars, and individual heating and air conditioning controls.
Each apartment also has cable television service at no extra cost. The fully carpeted apartments are decorated with custom shades as window treatment for your privacy. All utilities, with the exception of telephone, are included in the monthly rent.
Spring Village at Danbury also has available fully furnished apartments for respite stays, either while family members are away or as an opportunity to see if life at Spring Village at Danbury is for you!
Here at Spring Village at Danbury we encourage residents to give us ideas about their recreational interests because this is their home and we want to add to their comfort and enjoyment. Our recreation program is filled with many interesting and varied activities from which to choose.
Our residents are at a stage in their lives when they have the free time to socialize and enjoy activities. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere in which they can take advantage of a variety of activities and make choices which best meet their individual needs.

Spring Village of Danbury is an active senior community. The average age of our residents is 80 and are young at heart. Our residents like to be kept active with many different activities, their favorites include any type of musical entertainment, art, a lively Bingo Game, current event discussions, puzzles, and board games, book club, baking, exercise, happy hour, and a good movie to name just a few! There are also group trips to shop, dine, and see the countryside.
Our care staff receives a minimum 12 Hours of Continuing Education per year along with all state required education. Spring Village at Danbury does training and in-servicing throughout the calendar year as our nursing staff identifies additional training needs. We are very proud of the commitment our staff has to caring for our residents, many of them have been working in the community for many years. Our goal is to hire caregivers who come to us with Serving Hearts.
Residents enjoy daily range of motion exercises, spiritual enrichment, dance classes, meditation classes, reflective discussion groups along with individual activities.
Spring Village of Danbury enjoys a State of the Art Security system throughout the community along with our Nursing Call System. Every resident wears a security necklace for when they are in need of care.
Spring Village at Danbury has beautiful outdoor gardens that many residents and families enjoy. Danbury is filled with culturally rich and entertaining places to visit. Some of the popular places to visit are the Danbury Fair Mall, Danbury Railway Museum, The Military Museum, Golf Courses, Long Ridge Library, and many beautiful parks.
Our Chef Jose along with having exceptional culinary skills is known for his Serving Heart. Jose has a knack for attention to detail in every aspect of the Dining Services provided to the residents at Spring Village at Danbury. Residents have choices for all their meals as well as specialty desserts and holiday favorites.
Spring Village at Danbury has a beautiful handicapped accessible van that can transport our residents.
We also do transportation to doctors appointments.
The community has a State of the Art Security System.
We are a pet-friendly community. Residents who have dogs or cats in the community are able to have their furry friends on a leash within the community and enjoy the outside community grounds.
Our commitment is to provide open communication to our residents and their families on an ongoing basis. We accomplish this through in-person family care meetings, phone or email. We encourage our families to reach out to us at any time if they have questions, concerns or feedback. Our enrichment team will reach out to family members as well via email to share community activities their family member might be engaged in on any given day. We are active on social media and family members enjoy seeing their loved ones enjoying their day in community.
