Wayman Place

Wayman Place is an assisted living facility that caters to seniors with short- and long-term care needs. The community location offers easy access to local amenities, including Candyland Park, Walgreens, Spice House of Longwood and numerous medical facilities. Every resident lives in private accommodations, and housekeeping, laundry, apartment maintenance and repairs are taken care of. For added safety, all apartment entryways are illuminated and feature smoke detectors and sprinklers. Staff craft individual care plans for each senior, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24/7 to coordinate care and provide oversight. Care for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, is taken into account, and daily meals and snacks are offered as part of a dietitian-supervised menu. An activity room, lounges, community outings and a full calendar of activities provide plenty of opportunities for residents to socialize.
