FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our residents vary in age from mid 70's to mid 90's but they all share a love for activities, especially BINGO!
We offer a wind range of engaging activities including exercise, music, live entertainment, church services, bible study, pet therapy, trivia, crafts, weekly outings and a nightly movie in our movie theater.
Located less than 5 minutes from Epps Village Shopping Center our community has quick and easy access to a large variety of shops and restaurants.
We offer medical transportation every Tuesday and Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm. We ask that residents or their family members give us at least two weeks notice so we can plan accordingly. Each Monday we have a lunch outing opportunity to a local restaurant and every Wednesday we enjoy a shopping trip to a local supermarket or clothing store.
Our dining program offers a variety of delicious meals each week. Daily residents are able to choose from two main course options and a variety of sides. If residents wish to have something other than the two main courses we have a A La Carte menu available. Throughout the day we have fruit, cookies, icecream, coffee, water, and lemonade available in our bistro area for easy access.
We value our resident's safety above all else. Each resident is provided with a bracelet that provides them access to their rooms and courtyard seating areas. Our dining, seating, and activity areas are set up in a open floor plan for easy accessibility.
All family members are welcomed to visit their loved ones in our community. We only ask that they sign in and out at our front desk each visit as a safety measure. Family members and staff have a open communication system. We have created an atmosphere where families are able to talk with lead the care team member for their loved on just by calling our front office number. In any case of emergency we contact the family immediately with an update. If anyone were to have and inquiry after ours we provide our After Hours Nurse phone number to each resident's family as well as the contact information for our Resident Care Director.
All of our team members are required to complete our continuing education program on a quarterly basis.
