Highland Estates is a senior living community focused on excellent care and authentic relationships. Staff meet with families and residents to create personalized care plans. Caregivers are available 24/7 to help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and medication monitoring. An In the Moment program provides guidelines for memory care, and every staff member is trained in memory support. Residents with dementia move freely in the secured living areas and enclosed courtyard. All residents eat family-style meals together in the dining room. A busy activities schedule offers lots of recreational options, such as fitness classes, book clubs and games, and activities based on decorative, performing and literary arts, including scrapbooking, painting and dancing. Highland Estates works with local volunteer organizations to help residents engage and connect with the surrounding community.
