FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We have nursing cell phones for assisted living and memory care that families can call or text at any time. We have 24/7 nursing that will call the family when needed. We send mass family texts via our app GoHappy when necessary to ensure full communications.
Seasonal menus, one main course per meal however we offer an additional menu for those who may not want the main course offered. Burgers, salad, hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken available at all times.
Northwestern McHenry or hospital of families choice
We are located right in the heart of downtown Fox Lake. Walking distance to the Theatre, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Walgreens, McDonalds, Little Coffee Shop, DQ, Dockers, etc.
Secured memory care unit.
ALL - cats are usually in the resident room.
2/3 per shift am and pm, one on overnight with an overnight nurse 7pm-7am. During the day we have one nurse for assisted living and another for memory care 7am-7pm.
24/7 nursing and care.
We have a vast variety of ages in our Assisted Living. Ranging from 55 - 90s. Our residents like to play games, participate in crafts, gardening, sitting outside and enjoying the warm weather and sun, go on outings (bowling, movies, coffee shop, out to lunch, ice cream, etc)
Our company has a Flourish Program dedicated to enriching the lives of our MC seniors.
Charter bus for community outings - no transportation available to DR appointments at this time.
Ongoing Relias training and monthly in-service meetings with all staff.
Flourish program, Oshibori, exercise activities, outdoor activities.
Monthly in-service and ongoing relias video trainings.
Located near residential neighborhood and across from Lilac 55+ apartment complex.
Our Health and Wellness Director, these evals are updated annually and/or as needed in change of resident status. With any assessment the family will be contacted for a meeting with the director of nursing to sign off on the updated care plan. This also gives us the ability to answer any family questions on care their loved one is receiving.
We offer eating assistance, proper food portioning, diets that accommodate each individual.
Pendants for all residents, community doors locked at night, only the front doors are unlocked during the day.
24/7 nursing, available to call or text our nurses 24/7.
