Keystone Place has a comparatively young and vibrant population. Our community opened it's doors in 2015 and has 15% of it's assisted living residents that are actually Independent waiting to move into our Independent living section, due to our long waiting list. We enjoy a more active group of residents than we might otherwise and are able provide highly engaging activities they truly enjoy!
Some of our most popular activities include Thai Chi, Yoga, Yoga with weights, Wii Bowling, Painting, Knitting, Alternative Arts, Current Event talk, Art History talk, Flower Arranging. We have Book Club and many different card groups as well! Each month we choose a country to learn about, and weave programs throughout the month in a theme of that country. We watch informational programs, have special dining experiences, go on related outings and have fun with the theme!
We are 200 steps to the Cape Cod Canal, and our residents walk there daily! We have a view of the Bourne and the Cape Cod Railroad bridges and some residents can see all the way to Buzzards Bay from their deck! We are close to the Bowling Alley, Betty Ann's Ice Cream, The Bourne Senior Center, Leo's for Breakfast and Mezza Luna for Prime Rib, there is Chinese Food and Seadfood at rotary and CVS and Ocean State Job lot for some of our shopping options! Oh, and we can't forget our favorite Pizza, the Santorini comes from Buzzards Bay House of Pizza- they deliver SUPER fast!
Our Keystone Coach takes residents to scheduled doctors appointments on M-T-W and out to lunch, cultural or fun activities on Thursday and Friday is our shopping day!

We have a single entry system, so all guests come through the front desk, staffed 8a-8p every day. We have an expansive camera security system in place that records all the entry points along with other key locations on the grounds and in the building. Our front door locks at 8pm and residents and family may come and go with a keycode or by ringing staff at the front door to be let in to the building. All guests and residents must sign in and out of the building.
Should any situation arise our staff will reach out to families to let them know.
We have a very well staffed community. We are a small company, without regional or area directors, so we don't have a large overhead to cover at home office. We have ample budget for staff, and keep our building staffed so well, that you will never see our team members running frantic or rushing care. Our best testimonials come from professionals who work in our building providing visiting nurse, hospice, entertainers, they see how communities staff and they are always telling us our building has the best work environment. It makes a real difference for our staff and residents alike.
We do accept pets, Cats and Small dogs. Our furry residents enjoy the Cape Cod canal walking path and also lots of friendly faces and volunteer dog walkers among their neighbors!
