In a small residential neighborhood, Sunrise of Burlington is surrounded by malls, restaurants, churches and hospitals. To support residents, 24/7 staff provide help with activities of daily living, and nurses perform monthly wellness checks. The community has a bistro and various comfortable gathering spaces. Every suite is wheelchair-accessible, and many are painted for residents with eye impairments. The landscaped grounds are connected by walking paths that lead to shaded patios and a baseball field. In these spaces, residents can gather for Bible studies, book clubs, crafting groups, Spanish classes and outdoor activities. Diverse physical activities include tai chi and gardening. In the dining room, meals are made from scratch and can be tailored to meet many dietary requirements. In 2017, this community won the Sunrise Senior Eats Nutritional Challenge for excellent culinary services.
