The pet-friendly campus is conveniently close to local shopping at Westgate Center and standout medical care at the highly rated St. Cloud Hospital. The Sanctuary has a range of on-site amenities, including a large garden with walking paths, a fitness center and a spa. The community also features a spacious dining room where residents can enjoy delicious homemade meals together; in-room dining is available as well. Professional caregivers cover weekly housekeeping and laundry duties in addition to offering 24/7 support with medication management. Each resident receives an individualized care plan that includes a variety of activities designed to promote physical, mental and spiritual wellness, such as fitness classes, social events and community outings.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Residents of The Sanctuary are at least 55 years old. We have a beautiful community, and lots of activities and beautiful spaces to do things independently and as a group. We have game spaces, fitness spaces, a card/club room, coffee lounge, cinema and many beautiful outdoor spaces from several decks to patio adjoining the park. We even have our own store, as well as several laundry rooms, 2 hair salons
We have a full time activity director in Assisted Living and a full time activity director in Memory Care. There are a variety of group and independent activities offered daily. We have exercise classes Monday through Friday. Weekly outings with corporate transportation. We have 3 spiritual offerings each week along with group activities like WII, Cash Cab, Karaoke, Arts, Crafts, board and card games, poker, puzzles and of course BINGO. We have monthly cooking demonstrations and wide range of Special Activities each month! If you want to do something outside The Sanctuary community there is local metro bus, as well as the customized "Dial-a-Ride" service. There are also several other "care cab" options for medical appointments. as well as Uber/ Lyft and several local Taxi companies here in town.
Residents find there is little need to leave, we have everything right here! a fitness room, spa, Club room, Coffee lounge, Dining room, Movie Theatre, Art Studio, park-like garden, patio, biking/walking trails, Gardens, Decks, bird/animal watching areas, general store (where everything is $1.00). A library and an office space complete with a land phone line, a computer and printer with high speed internet.
Here at The Sanctuary there are many transportation options. There is local metro bus, as well as the customized "Dial-a-Ride" service. There are also several other "care cab" options for medical appointments. as well as Uber/ Lyft and several Taxi companies here in town.
Our French Trained Chef here at the Sanctuary is award winning and comes to us from the hospitality industry in the lakes area of Northern Minnesota. There are 8 to 10 breakfast options and TWO main lunch and TWO main dinner options available every day. There are also 10+ other options that can be customized for any meal. Foods are heart healthy with many “low calorie” options available.
The Sanctuary is safe, our building is locked. With a phone in security system 24/7. We are unlocked between 8-5 when our full time Receptionist is there to greet and insure security of guests and visitors in our community
We keep residents informed of the activities, involvement and any health needs or changes via a variety of opportunities. We have a printed Newsletter, an on line presents with Face book and other places and, of course there is always the phone for immediate/personal and private communication. And of course we keep the personal lines of private communication open when families and friends are in our community. Caremerge, this is an online system where they can see what their loved ones have been doing in the community.

Service animals are reviewed on an individual basis prior to acceptance. There is plenty of outdoor areas for them to enjoy.
The Sanctuary insures that we are a staff that is fully trained as DEMENTIA FRIENDS! We are required monthly training on a variety of topics, and our introductory training spends more than 8 hours on Dementia care alone. Ongoing monthly training is also required on a wide range of elder topics.
To prevent wandering outside the community we have a secure memory floor in our secure building. We have higher staff ratios on our Dementia floor. We also have alert buttons available for all residents. We also have high safe side walls on our outside decks.
