Silver Sky Assisted Living

A half-hour northwest of Las Vegas' busyness is the Silver Sky Assisted Living facility, which has a large campus including walking paths, resident gardening beds and covered patios. Residents can choose from one or two-bedroom apartments complete with a living area, private bathroom, kitchenette and each designed with an emergency call system. A registered nurse is on staff for medication management, diabetes care and other medical needs, and a 24/7 staff is there to help with the resident's needs after hours. All meals are provided, and an executive chef creates seasonal menus with a dietitian available to oversee dietary needs. Residents are provided many activities to choose from such as bingo, pinochle tournaments, movies and video games.
