Brookdale Wayne is not affiliated with a hospital. However, we foster a positive working relationship with many LTC facilities to ensure we provide a continuity of care at all times.
Our wellness team communicates effectively and consistently to ensure everyone is in the know.
All exterior doors are locked and coded. The main entrance is locked during the receptionist's off-hours. There is a doorbell for the entrance/exit of visitors that gets sent to all associate's pagers at the community. Our memory care community is a secured environment in which a code must be entered to enter/exit 24/7.
Brookdale Wayne is located in a residential neighborhood that is within walking distance of local shopping centers, restaurants, food stores, banks, etc.

Monthly in-service training and Brookdale course training as well as additional dementia training courses for associates in our memory care community.

The Daily Path is an individualized and gently structured program that is designed to meet the needs of each individual resident.

As part of our Clare Bridge Dining Program, Brookdale creates a familiar environment for our residents during mealtimes.
Staffing within the community is based on resident acuity. Staffing is reassessed constantly to ensure we meet our residents' needs.
Our current population's average age is about mid-80s with a very diverse population that includes various backgrounds/cultures/religions. We currently have a lot of residents who enjoy music, arts/crafts, attending plays, reading, etc.
