Elderwood is also within 3 miles of Eastview Shopping Mall.
Elderwood offers complimentary transportation with door-to-door service by our licensed drivers. Our highest priority is the safety of our residents and take time and care to ensure a safe and enjoyable drive to any appointment or trip. Elderwood goes on weekly outings and includes transportation to shopping, restaurants, casinos and more! When you visit our community, we would love to introduce you to our van driver Tom! Tom has been working for us since 2010 and takes great pride in knowing our residents and making each trip enjoyable and memorable! He has been known to make trips past a resident's former home or workplace or introduce them to a new destination they are sure to enjoy.
Elderwood Village at Fairport offers traditional food focusing on the meals that our residents would have made at home. Our Chef Anthony meets with residents on a monthly basis to discuss future meals and feedback from the recent menu. We have five entrees at each meal offering our residents variety. Elderwood has a dietician who oversees all our menus to ensure proper nutrition and adherence to special dietary needs.

Elderwood Village at Fairport feels communication is the key to success and has Collaboration in our Mission Statement, it is imperative to work as a team with our families to ensure that we provide the highest quality of care for our residents. Our management team has an open-door policy meaning that when families have a concern, they can meet with our staff without having to set up an appointment or break through the concierge. When there are changes in care needs, we will offer care plan meetings with the family to communicate those changes.

Elderwood Village at Fairport understands the importance of pets in our residents' lives. We accept small dogs and cats if the resident can care for their pet. Some of our residents hire outside help to manage their pet's needs. We have courtyards as well as lots of green space and sidewalks to allow safe exercise. Pets must remain on their leash while in common areas of the community.
