Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home

Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home is a 26-acre community that offers spectacular views of Lake Erie. Since its inception in 1886, it has provided veterans from all branches of the military along with their spouses a safe and caring environment where they can maintain active and social lifestyles. Its nursing team is available 24/7 to assist with activities of daily living, such as medication management, mobility support and hygiene. Physical, speech and occupational therapy is also available on-site. The community honors veterans' service to the country with little touches, such as the Avenue of Flags and Canteen, a snack shop. A variety of daily activities, including bingo, live entertainment and billiard tournaments as well as scheduled outings create a vibrant and welcoming environment. Nutritious meals that meet residents’ dietary and therapeutic needs are served in the main dining hall.
