FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our community leadership team is in constant contact with residents and their families. If there is a change in condition or anything that requires notification to a residents family, our team makes that notification in real time. Supporting our residents is our number one goal, and supporting their families is something we feel strongly about in accomplishing that goal.
All staff receives an extensive training upon hire and our entire team receives training on a monthly basis, covering all levels of caring for our seniors. In addition to our monthly trainings we hold weekly in-services as needed.
We have a transporter on staff and offer transportation for our residents to all appointments as the needs arise.
Faithful Living is right off a main road with a number of shopping options in walking distance of our community. We also offer weekly trips to Walmart for our residents should they want to do some extra shopping or just join for the trip.
Our Lead Chef started in the gourmet restaurant industry and brings his skills and experience to our dining team, offering gourmet meals and menus to our number one priority, our residents. These meals are approved by a dietician with a focus on health, wellness and nutrition while being the variety and prefences our residents enjoy.
Faithful Living loves all animals, in fact we have an aviary and an aquarium on our community. All potential pets moving into our community are evaluated on a case by case basis.
Our community has multiple sitting and TV areas along with multiple large dining rooms and activity spaces for our AL and IL resident to enjoy at any time.
Our community has staff onsite 24/7 with spicific safety protocols in place to ensure out community and our residents home is safe and secure at all times. Additionally all suites have locked doors with only each resident and staff having the key to their own suite.
Our population age ranges from the ages of 65 to 95 and are from all walks of life. In addition to our wonderful life enrichment program catered to all seniors and their preferences we have a many Veterans that call Faithful living home and have a Veterans program geared just for them as well.
Faithful Living has staff on sight 24/7 and our staffing ratio is based on need, acuity and DHS requirements. Ensuring our residents are fully cared for 100 percent of the time is our top priority and ensuring our community is fully staffed to do so is crucial to that.
Our Community offers a plethora of activities within our life enrichment program. We have everything from Bingo to live music and community outings along with more individualized activities based on our residents preferences and what they love to do. We also offer a wellness program within our life enrichment program which includes exercise, walking clubs, yoga and many other wellness activities to support our seniors and veterans in their wellness journey.
Our independent Living community age ranges from 55 to 95 and is based on level of support needed. All IL residents partake in our robust life enrichment program and all programs offered in our Faithful Living Personal Care Home.
Faithful Living employs our own staff with no staffing agency usage. However we do work closely with local Doctors of all specialties along with a physical therapy company to ensure our residents receive the medical care they need on site or within the community as needed.
