Family-owned and operated since owner Steve Kitchen bought the property in 1996, The Lodge at Leon Springs is a San Antonio-based senior living community that provides assisted living, respite care and independent living services to roughly two dozen seniors. Situated on the locally renowned, famed stagecoach line that stretched more than miles between San Antonio and Bandera, The Lodge is a Spanish-style home with more than 12,000 square feet of floor space, giving residents plenty of room to enjoy alone time. The Lodge at Leon Springs keeps enough caregivers on staff to maintain a 1:6 staff-to-resident ratio at all times; its caregivers give residents as much assistance as they need with ambulating, eating, grooming and all other duties of daily living. Residents can enjoy a range of entertainment options in The Lodge's recreational activity schedules and exercise programs.
