Our Assisted community features studio apartments and 24/7 med techs and caregiver services. Lewisville Estates is 15 years old this year. We are in the process of remodeling so come see us soon! FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
At Lewisville Estates we provide each of our residents and their families a monthly newsletter as to keep everyone involved and informed about what is happening at our community. Our directors, as well as the rest of our staff, have open communication with family members to ensure they are always involved and in charge of the care of their loved one. We always encourage our families to follow the Lewisville Estates Facebook page as well to stay abreast to all of the fun their loved ones are having.
While Lewisville Estates is not a memory care or locked community, the doors leading outside the building to our parking lot have alerts that engage when opened to let the staff know when an individual is exiting the building. Our residents and their families must have a key to gain access to those side exterior doors. During non-business hours a key or access code is needed to enter the building through our front doors as well. We also have multiple staff members on-site who are Certified Dementia Care Professionals.
Our Activities Director helps our residents schedule weekly trips the local senior centers, meals out to eat at various local restaurants, visits to the casino, the horse races, and more!
Upon move-in, each of our residents is equipped with a personal alert pendant as well as alert pull chords in each apartment that make our Assisted Living Staff aware of their needs. Our on-site nursing, medication technician, and caregiver staff are available and working 24 hours a day to make sure our residents at Lewisville Estates are getting the highest quality of care.
At Lewisville Estates our residents have access to on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies through Legacy Rehabilitation Services. Our staff is also happy to provide a list of preferred providers made of up local physicians and home health services for those residents who are in need of a little bit of extra help.
Lewisville Estates is pet-friendly and we feel our residents’ fur babies are a significant part of their quality of life. Resident pets can enjoy a gated dog park as well as our Friendship Garden located on our property to get some sunshine and playtime outside.
At Lewisville Estates we have a vast array of eclectic residents who range in ages 65 and older. Our residents enjoy spending time together doing arts and crafts, going to church services, playing bingo and other games, exercising with our on-site physical therapists, as well as singing and dancing at our weekly happy hours.
Our Chef at Lewisville Estates has had at least 20+ years of experience in the food service industry. He has been featured on the food network and runs a successful personal cooking blog. Our Chef meets with our Resident Food Committee at least once a month to ensure that our dining services are up to their standards as well as gain insight as to what our residents would like to see on our menus each week. All of our residents can expect a menu with at least 10-12 options per meal. As a result, each of our residents are able to create an individual diet of their choice.
While Lewisville Estates is located in a quiet residential location, we are still close to a variety of different restaurants and shopping opportunities including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Mama’s Daughter’s Diner, and more!
Because Lewisville Estates is an all-inclusive community, transportation for group outings as well as individual errands is included and available for our residents anywhere in Lewisville, Flower Mound, and/or Highland Village. Trips outside of that radius are available as well for a small additional fee. We have a handicap accessible bus for group outings as well as a car for individual needs.
Lewisville Estates offers emergency alert pull-chords in both the bedroom and the bathroom areas of each apartment that informs our 24-hour concierge that a resident needs immediate assistance. Our residents and their families must have a key to gain access to the side exterior doors of our building. During non-business hours a key or access code is needed to enter the building through our front doors as well.
Whether it’s arts and crafts, church services, sing-a-longs, trivia and brain exercise games, bingo, strength building exercise classes, or happy hours and birthday bashes, Lewisville Estates offers a wide variety of activities that allow our residents to stay social and active.
