Brighton Gardens is a pet-friendly senior living community in a quiet neighborhood only a short distance from Friendship Heights Metro. Caregivers are always available to help residents with daily tasks, such as dressing, bathing and transfers. Licensed nurses administer medications, and residents have 24-hour access to geriatric doctors and nearby hospitals. The dining room serves three chef-prepared meals daily with multiple entree selections and pureed options. Snacks and beverages are available throughout the day. A landscaped courtyard lets residents relax outdoors or work in the gardens, and seniors can choose small windowsill gardens for their rooms. A community cat and dog provide companionship, and the outdoor pond is stocked with colorful fish. The activities department organizes arts and crafts, musical therapy and trivia games. Residents can participate in frequent community outings to nearby shops, restaurants, parks and entertainment venues.
