We have a lot of men on our campus so we also offer "Just for the Guys" activities and our We Heart Kenosha program allows residents to participate in projects associated with local charities to help the less fortunate.

Library Terrace offers wireless staff call pendants for each resident. With smaller, one-story buildings and 24/7 staffing there is regular interaction between our residents and our staff -- both in the common areas and the living units. Both buildings are fully sprinklered and are secured in the evening hours.
The Library Terrace management team has regular contact with our residents' families through in-person meeting, phone calls and emails. We work with each family to determine how frequently and in what manner they prefer to be informed about their loved one. Families can also check the Library Terrace Assisted Living Facebook page for multiple postings per week of the various activities and outings in which the residents are participating.

All staff receive at least 20 hours of training and must pass all required training modules before they can start working on their own. Monthly mandatory staff meetings all provide on-going education sessions. Some staff also have the opportunity to participate in off-site professional development and continuing educational classes paid for by their employer.
While Library Terrace offers a safe and secure environment we are not a "locked facility" and do not accept residents with a history of wandering.
