Approximately 2/3 female 1/3 male; average age 82. Shopping, outings to area features, bingo & card games, Wii bowling, armchair travel.
Activity program designed to address intellectual, spiritual, physical, and social needs in a variety of ways. Residents can help determine activity programming.
Several local city parks, Walmart.
Transportation to medical appointments M-F 8am - 2pm, weekly shopping trips.
Although no theraputic diets are offered; a nutritionally balanced menu is prepared, allowing residents to make their own decisions to avoid added salts/concentrated sweets/etc. Alternates for main entree offered as well.
Significant fire detection and suppression systems in place, routine life safety training for staff. Residents assigned a call pendant used to summon staff for assistance.
Annual care conferences, phone notification of significant developments (illness, hospitalization, falls, etc.), and upon request. Monthly newsletter and Facebook keep families informed of facility activities and events.
1:10 daytime (6:45am - 6:45pm), 1:16 nighttime (6:45pm - 6:45am).
No pets allowed.
Monthly training with topics including but not limited to: life safety, care provision, medication administration, etc.
Not a secured facility, so we cannot accommodate residents who may wander.
