Family-owned and -operated, Rosewood on the Sound is located in New York's Oyster Bay area, with over an acre of parkland. The community is characterized by its caring staff and holistic approach to care. Its recreation program promotes healthy socialization, creative expression, physical fitness and mental stimulation. Some of the offerings include movie nights, dancing, arts and crafts, educational lectures, yoga classes and events, such as shopping trips and frequently scheduled afternoon teas. Residents are served three fresh, chef-prepared meals each day while they enjoy beautiful views of the Long Island Sound from the spacious dining room or outdoor deck.
