FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
The average age of our residents is 65-80 yrs. and we do have several residents in their 60's. Parties, lunch and shopping outings, Chair Yoga, live music, arts and crafts and group trivia are some of the activities our residents enjoy. Some of our residents like to go for walks or ride their bikes in the neighborhood behind our community. Our residents also enjoy group picnics at several of the oceanfront parks nearby.
We offer oceanfront picnics, lunch and shopping outings, live music, a variety of exercise opportunities, group games and trivia, arts and crafts, themed parties and more.
The ocean is across the street from our community. Some of our apartments have ocean views. There are beach access walkways as well as several oceanfront parks nearby. We are within walking distance and a short drive to several churches, restaurants, banks, shopping and grocery stores.
We have a community bus for group outings to restaurants and shopping trips, and for weekly doctor office visits.
Our exceptionally experienced Chef and Dietary Director ensures our residents have nutritious, delicious home cooked meals while meeting individual dietary needs. Our dining program offers restaurant style dining and residents always have a choice of entrees.
Our Maintenance Director provides routine maintenance, safety and security checks. The front door to our community is locked from 8pm - 8am for security. Our Memory Care is locked 24/7 for our Memory Care resident's safety.
Our Director of Nursing, our Wellness Coordinator and Executive Director communicate regularly with families about their loved one and their health. Our Activities Director and Marketing Director keep families informed about weekly activities, events and parties through emails and posted flyers and calendars within our community.

We accept small dogs and cats. Residents need to be able to take care of their pets by themselves. Their pets are allowed to enjoy our community inside and outside except in our Dining Room. There are no pets allowed in the Dining Room.

Our Memory Care is a secure community. It is located on our second floor and requires an elevator key to enter and exit the floor. Only staff members have a key to our Memory Care.
