the state of Georgia requires 1:15 during waking hours and 1:20 during sleeping hours. We typically staff about the state minimums and chose to staff based upon the acuity level/needs of our residents.
We have alarms on all doors that let us know when someone is exiting the community.
Security/emergency pendants, staffed with caregivers 24 hours a day, doors are locked after regular business hours
