North Star Retirement Community

The North Star Assisted & Senior Living community provides resort-style amenities for seniors in Coeur d'Alene. With well-trained staff creating a friendly and safe environment for residents, it offers a variety of activities for active seniors. To keep fit, seniors can participate in tai chi or yoga classes, walk nearby hiking trails, work out in the fitness room, play Wii sports or spend time gardening outdoors. Residents go on weekly outings to visit local attractions and educational spots, though with on-site storytelling, music classes, religious services, arts and crafts, book clubs and opportunities to cook, there is much for them to do within the community, as well. Residents can make trips to doctor and other appointments easily, with rides on the community's routinely scheduled shuttle. The community additionally has an on-site salon and barbershop, where residents can get a trim, a shave or a retouch.
