FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Ave. age is 83; majority use walkers. About 1/3 are very active and participating in community activities. Going out to eat twice a month (Lunch Bunch), Bingo and Rummikub. They love listening to different music groups.
Daily exercise, church services, variety of activities (such as bingo, cards, Wii, painting, gardening).
Very active local senior center and Maryville College
Browns Creek transportation bus (wheelchair accessible)
Our chef takes a lot of pride in making meals that are not only healthy but taste good. Chef has monthly meetings with residents to hear complaints, complements and suggestions on the menu.
Entire building is “secured”, meaning a code is required to enter and leave the building. No one gets the code except Brookdale Staff.
Anything out of the ordinary is shared by clinical staff with the POA
There are two caregivers during each shift (morning, afternoon and evening). At max, we have 42 residents.
Cats stay in resident room. Dogs must be on leash. All animals must be up to date on their shots.
Monthly computer training (LMS) as well as monthly staff meetings.
Residents that wander are better suited for one of our memory care communities.
