Our Nurse Amye, is very in touch and communicative with letting families know of resident condition changes.
Associates can do hand over hand assistance with eating. Associates are will residents at all times when eating. Special diets such as chopped, mechanical soft, pureed and thickened liquids can be accommodated.
We have many scheduled activities daily.
We accept small pets. We do have several outdoor areas for pets to be walked.
Our average age is 88yrs Old. Our oldest resident is 99yrs old and our youngest is 72yrs old. Several of our residents love to play dominos. A game can be seen going on several times a day.
We have a concierge at the entrance to our community till 6p.
We have a nurse on staff 8hr a day and on call 24/7. Our care associates are our eyes and ears for condition changes and notify the nurse as changes are noted.
We are located primarily in a neighborhood. Presbyterian Hospital of Plano is less than a block away. Also easy access to shopping and highways.
We have many scheduled activities throughout the day from exercising to reminiscing to stimulate thinking to painting, etc.
Our Nurse is very communicative to families on resident changes. At anytime families can call her or the community to check on their family member.
Our Chef and assistant cook makes fabulous desserts. All varieties of foods are made daily.
Residents have emergency pull cords in each apt in the bedroom area and restroom. Also residents can have a call pendant to wear.
Currently we have 2 associates on the floor with an activities associate daily and 2 associates overnight. As the number of residents increase staffing will increase.
No, but Presbyterian Hospital of Plano is very close. Also several other hospitals in the area can be easily used.
We have 3 care associates on shift for first and second shift and 2 associates for night shift. Staffing will change for increased residents needs.
We have a community handicapped equipped van for outings.
We have continuous ongoing training for all staff related to dementia.
Associates received continuous training monthly. Topics are various based on the needs of the community and state requirements
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is about a block away. Also for more independent residents Willowbend Mall is a block away.
