We selected Astoria Retirement at Eastbluff for our list of Newport Beach's top assisted living facilities for its home-cooked meals and resort-style environment that also earned it a 2016 Best of Newport Beach award. Seniors here have access to continuing levels of care and elegantly furnished private rooms. The shared, cozy living area has a fireplace for added warmth, and the lobby's vaulted ceilings create an open and elegant feel. For security, the facility provides residents with personal emergency call systems, and doors are equipped with alarms. Residents enjoy daily walks, exercise programs and movies in the on-site theater.
