Founded in 1972, The Camino Retirement Apartments was Albuquerque's first retirement facility. Offering both independent and assisted living options, the 24-hour staff provides personalized care and daily living help to residents who require it while respecting the privacy and freedom of residents who can take care of themselves. An emergency alert system, daily housekeeping services and three delicious daily meals are among the regular services. Recreational amenities on-site include a decorated TV lounge, where residents can mingle and enjoy entertainment, and access to a beauty salon and barbershop, where community members can be pampered. Scheduled transportation is also available for residents who wish or need to venture off-site.
