FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
The Gardens in located in a beautiful residential neighborhood close to Chico Mall, Kohls, Target and many restaurants.
Person-centered means care that is specific and customized to the resident and/or group of residents based on clinical and social needs. Residents can expect a healthy and nutritionally balanced menu and a chef that can include special requests and preferences. In between meal snacks are also available.
The staff must complete all dementia care and other training as outlined by the Department of Social Services (DSS). This includes the Executive Director who must meet mandatory requirements for continuing education every 2 years to maintain their license in good standing.
We are affiliated with Enloe Hospital in Chico, CA.
We of course are always available to discuss resident care with residents and family. And, the resident care coordinators are also available for phone, in-person, or care conferences. In addition, we have made additional efforts to upgrade the Roseleaf website and post information and updates in real-time.
The resident's primary care provider (PCP) provides the most accurate assessment. We also give our assessment in consultation with the PCP and the family. Each resident is assessed in an ongoing manner.
Roseleaf Oroville provides daily activities that is person-centered and offered in a dementia village concept. Person-centered means care that is specific and customized to the resident and/or group of residents based on clinical and social needs. This includes, but not limited to music and memory, aromatherapy, exercise, brain games, outings, etc. And, the dementia village concept is a “neighborhood” environment that includes separate and themed spaces within the community such as a bistro, theater room, coffee corner, etc.
Roseleaf Oroville staff based on resident needs and not numbers. If there are many residents and many needs, the staffing is increased accordingly. Typically staffing is greater on the 1st and 2nd shift (typically 1-8), and somewhat less during hours of sleep (typically 1-15).
