Finnish-American Village

Founded on the values of compassion, mutual respect and appreciation of individualism, Finnish-American Village provides person-centered care as guided by its residents' needs and wishes. This senior community is in a residential neighborhood on Lake Osborne and conveniently near JFK Medical Center. Its single-level assisted living complex features a Finnish sauna and accommodates assisted living residents in studio apartments that have kitchenettes and screened-in patios. The extensive grounds have connecting walking paths throughout the campus. Aside from receiving personal assistance and 24-hour oversight, residents may benefit from medication management and extended congregate care through the community's in-house skilled nursing unit. In addition to three home-cooked meals served daily, coffee and home-baked coffee bread are available all day. Regular activities include exercise and wellness classes, interdenominational devotionals, Finnish holiday celebrations, creative arts and live entertainment.
