FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Enjoy our complimentary transportation provided in our community bus with a lift. Mondays are personal shopping days, Tuesdays are physician's appointments - just book your appointment on Tuesday and let our concierge know and we are happy to get you to your scheduled appointment, and Thursdays are special outing (movies, museums, gardens, etc). If residents require additional transportation this can be scheduled in advance with our concierge and will be provided based on availability. Charges will apply.
Our residents are very active and range in age from 66 to 99.
Each resident apartment is equipped with emergency pull cords in the bathroom as well as the bedroom. Individual pendants are also available. Our Front Desk is available from 8am to 8pm.
We offer a family style approach to meals. Meal times are scheduled and consistent every day to create routine. Meals are served on red china to help residents identify food items.
Canterfield's restaurant style dinning is available starting at 7:30am until 7:00pm. Enjoy your chef prepared meal at a linen draped table with fresh flowers. Select from our menu, one of our daily specials or from our Always Available Menu. Dedicated professional servers will ensure that your dinning experience is exceptional. Specials diets are available.
Monthly staff meetings are help with employees where a wide variety of in-services are learned or retrained.
Canterfield is pet friendly. Our fury friends are permitted in individual apartments and our surrounding walking areas. Pet Waste Stations are available.

Canterfield uses Tepa Snow Concepts to train in dementia care
Our Health and Wellness Director preforms an initial assessment on all residents. Additional assessments are preformed as needs change or every 6 months.
Activities change on a monthly basis, but we start each day with an exercise program and end the day with a movie. Throughout the day residents are able to participate in a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts, card games, Bingo, men's group, Red Hat Society, live performances every Wednesday, and much much more.
