We have two living options under one roof- Assisted Living is ideal for residents who value their independence, but may need assistance with daily activities. Our community team members are raving fans of encouraging independence with assistance readily accessible at all times of day.
Memory Care is for our Elders who are living with some form of memory loss. Every member of The Georgian Lakeside team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified. That includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. The education allows us to interact with our memory care residents as unique individuals rather than objects in need of care. Residents are engaged with the goal of helping them recapture moments of memories and the recognition of loved ones.

Monthly Newsletter sent out to families, email invites to upcoming activities. Memory Care also utilizes our CareMerge Family application to keep up with their loved ones activity.
At The Georgian Lakeside, we’ve dedicated our lives to ensure there is purpose in every breath of each resident we’re honored to serve. Which means life extends beyond our community’s walls. We offer a shuttle service to doctor appointments, local retail shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. We're at your service!
Senior living doesn’t have to be sedentary. It should be full of activities and interactions that enrich, stimulate, and inspire older adults, with team members cheering them on every step of the way. That’s Thrive. Music and Dancing are HUGE here. We've got the care team to bring out the best moves in your loved ones. Additionally, we love gardening, coloring, arts & crafts, and more!
Our Memory Care communities are designed to empower residents to make their own living choices. Our approach is to educate families on new and productive patterns of communication with their loved one who is living with memory loss. Our entire team is NIDE (National Institute of Dementia Education) certified or scheduled to be trained. That includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. This allows us to interact with our residents as unique people rather than objects in need of care.
Our LPN Completes all assessments. Residents health and cognitive functioning are evaluated prior to move in and periodically based on resident need, physician orders, and regulatory requirements. At a minimum, these assessments may be done quarterly and when changes in resident condition necessitate an evaluation.
Safety is so important. We educate and train our team members, residents, and guests to first think of how to live their best life. At The Georgian Lakeside we work together to support people in making choices that move them closer to feeling the joys of life. We call this process of decision making SafetyThird. It’s a unique model that focused on the human experience. Locked doors from 7pm-8am, supplemented with constant surveillance at the front desk. Additionally, we implement Accushield to have visibility on all approved guests for our residents.
Our attention to detail extends to wandering residents as well. These residents are generally provided with greater supervision and security and we have team members and other caregivers that are accustomed to the impulsivity and reduced safety awareness that people with changing cognitive abilities may exhibit. The team members are trained to respectfully and humanely redirect the resident to the appropriate activity or location.
We’ve spent the last decade carefully selecting team members who share our in our vision: a future society that will stand in awe and admiration of all older adults. People who see their mission as more than just a caretaker, but as a difference maker in the lives of those who live with us. Assisted Living daytime is 1:12; nighttime is 1:15. Memory Care daytime is 1:8 and nighttime 1:10.
At The Georgian Lakeside, residents engage in events and activities they’ve always loved, along with new friends they’ve made who love them as much as they do. We’ve dedicated our lives to ensure there is purpose in every breath of each resident we’re honored to serve. We offer a variety of activities ranging from what we call our "Georgian Lakeside University" or GLU classes, Bingo, comedy hour, cooking demos, table puzzles, card games, music and more! No one day is the same here and our goal is to reach all corners of the community.
The resident receives three (3) chef-prepared meals daily/gourmet dining experience. Meals can be customized to dietary preferences and restrictions. “At mealtimes, residents gather around the table and enjoy cuisine that can only be described in one word. Mmm.” Meals on the go in MC is important, for some, movement and eating go together. That is why we have hand held foods readily avail.

Our attention to detail extends to our sense of space and we take great pride in our thoughtful, intentional design. So much so, that we not only have we created beautiful, purposefully-designed environments for you, but we have welcoming spaces for your pets, aka fur-babies, too. They would be able to enjoy the front foyer, the garden, and the back patio the ranges from one side of the community to the other that outlooks the lake.

We use both technology and team member observation to assure residents this freedom while keeping them protected.

The Average age of our residents is 79.

We believe that the highest standards will provide residents and family with worry-free confidence in the overall resident experience. Knowing the needed help and team members are available when scheduled or requested needs arise is part of the overall “experience.” Staffing requirements vary by state licensing requirements and other considerations, such as size of the community and services offered. During the daytime we have 10-20 team members and at night we have 6-10.
