Monarch Villa team members can provide hand-over-hand assistance eating for those who require it. We use dishware and utensils created to encourage eating for those with memory loss.
We have a full engagement program and produce a monthly activities calendar. Our programming is individualized to each resident, so we incorporate baking and cooking classes, outdoor walks and gardening, reminiscing, arts and crafts, and other activities related to their hobbies and life experience.
While we are not affiliated with a hospital or healthcare system, we partner with home care and hospice organizations who can come in and provide care if more is needed and we are conveniently located to hospitals and other healthcare systems.
Monarch Villa keeps families informed via telephone calls, care meetings, and e-mails frequently. Upon move-in, we make sure we know how the family likes to be kept in touch with and how frequently.
