FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Residents are given a neck pendant upon move in. This safety measure is FREE and in addition to Emergency pull cords in the bathroom and bedroom.
We keep great open communication with our families. They typically call in for updates but we email, text and have regular care conference meetings to address their loved ones concerns.
Our resident’s enjoy Home Cooked meals daily by our chef. We offer 2 alternatives at every meal as well as desert after lunch and dinner.
We provide transportation to personal Doctor appointments and scheduled Life Enrichment Outings!
We have a quiet, extra large backyard that is fenced-in. There are three sections, assisted living, common area, and memory care
Our community is close to Northside Cherokee in Canton, Wellstar Kennestone in Marietta.
Employees we are required to complete monthly LMS scheduled training sessions. We attend training seminars and have outstanding periodic web training sessions from our Corporate office.
To assist our residents who wander, we have an area on the first floor that is strictly for our Memory Care residents. It is secured with a coded password to enter and exit. Family members have access to the codes.
Primary Care Physicians visit our residents on-site. We offer the following activities: Furry Friends visit weekly, volunteer pianist play 2x's a week, we celebrate individual birthdays, Butter Bean Auction, Name That Price, painting with acrylics on canvas, chair yoga, chair exercises with bands, BBQ's with families in the Spring and Fall outside in our gazebo, church singing group, Sunday services on-site, ice-cream sundae days, root beer float days, coffee and donuts mornings, Happy Hour with music and more
