FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We have 24/7 front desk and security monitoring. Our building’s visitors are monitored in a partnership with Accushield, who manages credentialing for all vendors and tracks visitors to the community.
Our Executive Chef has a hotel/hospitality background. We offer cuisine customized to resident tastes, and are proud to offer fresh entrees and choices everyday, along with classic items that are always available. Our residents rave about our holiday brunch buffets, which attract many guests and visitors as well.
Daily transportion within the neighborhood and downtown Chicago is available. The bus also makes special trips to group dinners at restaurants, theater, museums, etc.
Many of our residents walk their dogs in Lincoln Park across the street. Our Personalized Living team also offers dog-walking for a nominal fee!
All of our residents have access to our community’s resident-run Library, Beauty Salon, Massage Studio, Exercise Room, and Skyline Room.
Our Executive Director maintains an active email list of family members and residents. In addition to the monthly newsletter, the Executive Director also periodically emails families community updates as needed. Finally, the community’s Health and Wellness Director and Resident Services Director keep families informed by phone or email of specific needs or changes with their loved one.
Our residents at LSD enjoy activities ranging from physical fitness to art and games. They are an engaged group of individuals, who enjoy socializing with others.
