Heritage Woods of Gurnee

Heritage Woods of Gurnee is a welcoming assisted living community open to older adults of all incomes. Operating through the Illinois Supportive Living Program, Heritage Woods boasts 105 studio and one-bedroom apartments with their own kitchenettes, bathrooms and emergency response systems. The focus here is on helping residents maintain as much independence as possible with the support of nursing staff and the companionship of neighbors. Heritage Woods provides financial assistance for older adults who would benefit from assisted living services but cannot afford the typical monthly fees. Prospective residents who are on Medicaid or receive social security benefits may still qualify for residency.
