Assistance with activities of daily living allows residents to go about their day enjoying the things they love most. Weekly housekeeping services and 24-hour emergency maintenance offer a life of less responsibility. Seniors can always look their best by visiting the on-site beauty salon. Physical activity is encouraged to help maintain good circulation. Residents can challenge staff members to a game of shuffleboard or play a friendly game of Yahtzee with fellow seniors. Refreshments on the patio offer a respite from the warm afternoon sun. Residents can join their peers at bingo or participate in puzzle club to help sharpen the mind.

The Alzheimer's Association assists in hands on informational training within our community, as well as other professionals providing on-going training.
As of 1/25/19: Emery Place has 18 male and 39 female residents; average age is 85. Emery Place residents love the variety of activities in/out of the building: rides on the activity bus, musical entertainment, message therapy, pet therapy, guest speakers, wine tasting, jewelry parties, Live 2B Healthy fitness program, Music Speaks Therapy and Bingo! to name a few!

Emery Place has a walking path around the community. Residents enjoy shopping and restaurants just 1 mile away from the community.
All residents are offered transportation to/from doctors appointments; weekly shopping trips and activities.
Breakfast is made to order, chef special for lunch and supper; menu is always available. Our Culinary Coordinator caters to Emery Place resident request and often changes up the menu because of their suggestions.
Each resident wears an emergency call pendant that when pushed, notifies staff to respond to that person's apartment.
NEW in October/November 2018: CommunityShare/LifeShare - communication between families and residents providing information on Emery Place activities, menu and photos... to name a few.
Assisted living depends on care needs of current residents, but typically is 1/15; memory care is 1/6 daily and 1/10 nightly.
Emery Place accepts dogs/cats of 45 lbs or less.
Staff receives 3 weeks of training on hire and bi-weekly training thereafter.
Day: 6 - as well as 6 upper management
Night: 3-4
Memory care is a secured/key code community. Each resident wears a wander guard pendant and has visual checks every hour. If someone is known wander risk, 15 or 30 minute checks are scheduled.
