Our community offers 56 bright suites for assisted living with configurations that include spacious studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans (some as large as 820 square feet). Within our Reflections Neighborhood, we offer 29 secure suites devoted to the individualized, specialized care of residents with Alzheimers disease or other forms of dementia. MorningStar is a private pay community.
Along with stylish suites (where all thats wanting are your furnishings and personal items), MorningStar at Jordan Creek is filled with warm and inviting common areas both inside and out. From our cozy fireside living room to a comfortable dining room and scenic outdoor courtyards, residents are sure to feel right at home. And yes, MorningStar at Jordan Creek is pet-friendly.
We also offer a range of resort-style amenities and services to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents. One of those services includes providing residents with three daily meals prepared by our Executive Chef and served restaurant-style in our dining room. FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
There is a call system in each apartment that the resident has access to at any time of the day and also we provide call pendants to wear around their necks if that helps them feel more safe also.
They have access daily to the iN2L program for seniors. The program is great for any type of person. It has many amazing photos to help b ring back memories and give topics of conversation, music, sing alongs, and games. So many different options for seniors and wonderful program we have to offer here at MorningStar.
Yes we do accept one dog or one cat per apartment. There is nice walking area around the building and wonderful courtyards that are private and enclosed to stay safe and still feel independent and enjoy each other's company.
MorningStar has free transportation during the week to doctor's appointments, to and from. Also grocery store trips and social outtings are planned by the Life Enrichment Coordinator each month.
The team at MorningStar emails out to families individualy with pictures and information when something is going on. There is a blog on our website that will keep families updated on what is going on in the community and also a mass email program that we use for communication with families when needed.
The residents enjoy walking around the community to get fresh air and exercise. There are many stores close by that the bus takes them to, example: grocery stores weekly and other stores that are asked for.
Wandering in AL could be a sign that they are needing our area called Reflections, which is our Memory Care. Reflections has its own private courtyard also.If they are wandering just to find things to do, staff will help redirect and find other residents to visit with and activities to engage in.
They enjoy exercising, listening to live music, any social activity, using the courtyard, and playing bingo. Families are very involved and the residents love the events where we can bring the families in to celebrate an event with us all at MorningStar.
Staff go through training for Dementia and Dependent Adult Abuse. We have monthly meetings for all staff and on top of that nursing staff often meet more often, to touch base on things going on around the community with residents.
The average age at MorningStar are in their mid 80's. They enjoy exercising, listening to live music, any social activity, using the courtyard to visit with friends and plant flowers, and of course playing bingo.
