Provision Living at Beaumont Centre has a diverse and dynamic resident population. Residents come from all walks of life from teachers to ministers and nurses, professors to housewives and military spouses. These diverse backgrounds give our community a rich and robust group of people who quickly become friends and find common ground. Residents range in age from 46 to 98 with an average resident age of 84. Favorite activities include shopping, outings to surrounding parks and attractions. Our residents enjoy gathering for musical guests who frequently come in to preform for our residents in our Woodford Reserve room.
We have a well-rounded social and activities program that includes outings to areas for scenic drives through horse country and rolling farmland, lunch outings, going to movies and shopping. Our residents also enjoy cooking demonstrations and baking together as well as informational presentations, pet visits, spiritual and cultural programs that enhance daily lives.
Conveniently located in the heart of Beaumont Center in Lexington. Provision living has easy access to New Circle Road, Harrods Hill Park and Man O’War Blvd. Our residents and their families enjoy local neighborhood amenities that include a variety of outstanding dining options, shopping and walking paths. It’s also a special treat to be within walking distance to the Moondance Amphitheater.
Provision Living at Beaumont Centre provides complimentary transportation via our wheelchair lift bus to and from medical appointments with reservations, two days per week. We also use our van to take our residents on outings to local attractions, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment venues
Our Executive Chef has over 18 years of food and culinary expertise in fine dining and restaurants. He brings creativity and flavor to our menus and adds special touches and dishes that may be new to our resident’s palates. Our restaurant style meal service is delivered in our beautiful dining room that is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm. We offer a featured meal each day for the noon and evening meals, as well as an extensive ala carte menu. Ala carte selections are prepared to order at each meal. Breakfast is always cooked to order and is available upon request at all three meals!
Provision Living at Beaumont Centre is designed to the latest in fire safety standards and life safety codes with a fully integrated alarm system that includes smoke detectors in all resident apartments and throughout the community and a remote connection to a central dispatching system. Our community is a fully-sprinklered ensuring even greater safety for residents. Residents bedrooms and bathrooms have a call system that is monitored in a central location and alerts staff when a resident needs assistance. All entry and exit doors are alarmed and provide a greater measure of security. Our front entrance is locked 24/7 and requires staff assistance to enter the community. Provision Living at Beaumont Centre is also monitored 24/7 via security video cameras to ensure the safest possible setting for each of our residents.
Provision Living at Beaumont Centre begins building a great communication and information exchange with residents and their families beginning with each resident’s pre-admission process. Our team spends time learning about each resident’s individual needs and preferences to ensure a person-centered, individualized plan using resident and family input. This plan is reviewed on regular basis and as resident’s needs or preferences change and update to reflect changes. We encourage our families to ask questions, visit with our leadership team and staff whenever possible to ensure we are sharing information effectively. Family members are invited to our Family Forum meeting where they can communicate with the community leaders and share their experiences with other family members. Our full-time activities director shares photos with families of our residents engaged in our social and recreational activities programs through our Provision Living at Beaumont Centre Facebook page!
Provision Living at Beaumont Centre ensures that our caregiver-to-resident ratio meets or exceeds required State of Kentucky requirements. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that each resident receives the care and supportive services they need to maximize their independence while living in our community.
Provision Living at Beaumont Centre is a pet-friendly community and we understand that our residents’ pets are family. Dogs and cats are welcome; however, must remain inside the resident’s personal apartment. Unfortunately, not everyone enjoys having pets in their lives and we must respect their rights as well as those of our pet owners. All pets must be leashed when outside the resident’s apartment, in common area, or outside on the grounds. We request that each resident and/or a family member ensure the care of the pet. Pets are not allowed in the dining rooms at any time.
Provision Living at Beaumont Centre is committed to ensuring that our caregivers are provided with ongoing education and training. Upon becoming a member of our team, each staff member is provided with an extensive orientation process that includes both State required training and additional training required by our community. Both new hire training and our ongoing continuing education programs include topics related to Dementia, Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Resident Safety, Confidentiality and Safeguarding of resident information, Safe Medication Administration Techniques, and Customer Service. Training is provided for staff through in-person in-services and on-line continuing education.
Resident safety and security are a priority for the Provision Living at Beaumont Centre team. Safety measures include Sign-in and Sign-out system by Accushield at the front entry. All entry and exit doors are alarmed and those alarms are linked to staff pagers. Video security cameras are placed throughout the community and monitored for activity. The front entry doors are locked from 24/7 to provide an additional measure of safety and security. All other doors always remain locked from the outside and require a key code or staff assistance to gain entrance. Residents with a known history of wandering are referred to the care of Monarch Square our Memory Care Neighborhood.
