Liberty Ridge is a nonprofit, state-certified independent living, assisted living and memory care facility staffed by compassionate caregivers and set in a stately building on vast, parklike grounds with lush green lawns and a scenic pond. Assisted living residents live in spacious apartments with kitchenettes and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. To further the relaxing atmosphere, staff members provide weekly housekeeping and linen services. The dining hall serves three healthy meals per day, and residents can visit the on-site gift shop for treats or beauty salon when seeking a new hairstyle.

Average age of residents at Liberty Ridge is 73. Our residents favorite things to do is socialize, enjoy great food and take short fun trips off campus.
Healthy Lifestyle is a Life Enrichment Program designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents through involvement in activities that produce a healthy mind, body, and spirit. We facilitate optional involvement in any activity by making it as convenient, interesting, and beneficial to the resident as possible. Attention is paid to any individual physical limitations. Whenever possible, outside sources such as local sites and people working in a specific field of interest are utilized to help accomplish our goals.
Hamburg Pavilion - Lexington's premiere shopping area is only two blocks from Liberty Ridge. Shop, dine and stroll through over 70 of your favorite retailers at Lexington's finest family shopping center.
Liberty Ridge offers free weekly group transportation to shopping, bank and library. Liberty Ridge provides transportation for doctors appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's for a small fee.
Our certified chef works tirelessly to ensure the perfect mix of taste and variety in every meal. Rolls and biscuits are often prepared from scratch. Bi-monthly food meetings are held in order for our chef to receive suggestions and new ideas from residents. A variety of choices are offered for every meal, allowing you to choose those foods which are most appealing to your appetite. Breakfast includes your choice of any hot or cold breakfast delicacy….cooked to order. The noon-time meal is the primary meal of the day, featuring two or more delicious hot entrées. The evening meal is on the lighter side with several choices of soups, sandwiches, salads, and hot entrées. Home made desserts top off many meals.
All apartments are equipped with emergency response pull cords in each room. Residents are provided a pendant to wear that can be activated to summon help. All side entrance doors are locked from the outside and require a security fob for entry. Main Entrance locks at 8pm and requires a security fob for entrance at that time. All residents and family members are provided a security fob.
Liberty Ridge's Resident Care Coordinator stays in contact with resident families with any concerns about their loved one. The Liberty Ridge Ledger our monthly newsletter is also distributed.

Liberty Ridge is a pet friendly senior living community. Their is designated outdoor space with residents to walk their pets. Residents are required to clean up after walking their pets.
Liberty Ridge Resident Care Assistants received on going monthly staff training and do attend off campus seminars for continued training.

Liberty Ridge has two delayed enter and delayed exit neighborhoods within our community for those residents who are a wander risk.
Liberty Ridge believes that activities are more than just recreation, but include any event that engages a resident mentally and physically to prolong his or her quality of life. Our activities program encompasses educational, spiritual, and recreational events designed around the challenges of memory loss. Examples of activities might be morning exercise, memory walks, gardening, Bible study, spiritual devotions, and music events. Daily reminiscing and Life Stories are activities used to engage resident's long-term memories.
Liberty Ridge's Resident Care Coordinator assesses the resident's health and cognitive function prior to move-in, the day of move-in, 30 days after move-in and the every 3 months going forward.
We believe residents should have a "normal" and "enhanced" dining experience with flexibility that is important for the day to day cognition changes in memory care. Our dining services uses recipes intended to stimulate appetites, as well as specialized tableware to meet the needs and abilities of memory care residents.
Liberty Ridge will assess him or her for appropriateness for Memory Care using a Functional Needs Assessment upon move in and quarterly. This assessment will be completed by the Resident Care Coordinator with the input of the family and staff. Families are encouraged to participate in the Functional Needs Assessment to discuss any changes, ideas or concerns. Liberty Ridge supports family involvement with their loved one by visiting and volunteering with activities and outings. The Memory Care Companion staff is always available for questions about their loved ones, as well as, frequent communications with the Resident Care Coordinator.
