We are required to meet state regulations for dementia care training. This is ongoing and done upon hiring and routinely after they're hired for their position.
Average age is 82. They enjoy onsite entertainment, outings, volunteer groups, church service, crafts, puzzles, exercise and the watching movies in our theatre room

This is constantly changing to match the changing needs of our residents.
Our Director of Wellness does all routine wellness assessments of our residents and communicates changes with family and physician. This assessment determines their level of care.
We offer adaptive dining for residents based on their ability to feed themselves, swallowing precautions and need of cues. THis is heavily monitored by physician, nursing and Director of Dining
Our Director of Wellness and Executive Director schedules routine family meeting to keep the family informed on the needs of the residents.
