It offers a mentally and physically stimulating environment for seniors who require some assistance and encourages socializing with other residents. A typical week will include a movie matinee, bingo, cards, arts & crafts and themed celebrations often linked to national events, such as Halloween, Christmas and Thanksgiving. There are also regular trips and excursions to nearby attractions. Two freshly prepared meals are served daily in the dining room. For their safety, each resident is issued with an emergency fall pendant and staff — who are on-site continuously — make regular visual checks. Each room has its own fully equipped kitchen, enabling residents to prepare light meals and snacks. Most have walk-in closets and dining areas.
