The Windsor Senior Living Community is conveniently located close to shopping centers and medical facilities. A team of professional caregivers is on-site 24/7 to assist with the tasks of daily living, medication management and ambulation. Visual check-ups and blood pressure checks are used to monitor the health of residents. Emergency call buttons are located in every apartment and at key points around the community. Audiologists and podiatrists visit seniors on a regular basis. Each resident has a personalized care plan to ensure they receive the exact medical care and assistance they require. A monthly calendar of activities includes yoga, birthday happy hour events, bingo, coffee groups, arts and crafts and customized senior fitness classes. Catholic and Protestant religious services and study groups are available. Scheduled transport is provided to movies, casinos, medical appointments and shopping centers.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
The Windsor offers independent and assisted living, but they are not in separate sections. Whichever apartment residents move in to, we will bring in assisted services if and when they are needed. Our assisted living services can be purchased a la carte or as a package. Our ages of residents range from 56 years - 101 years. Our residents enjoy the same activities you and I do.
The Windsor offers both on site and off site activities. - Live 2B Healthy exercise classes, Happy hours, Chair yoga classes, Wii bowling, guest speakers, concerts, plays, cards, movies, bingo, dining out, a variety of religious services, casino trips, and many other activities. In addition to our beautiful library, we also work with St. Tammany Parish library. The Windsor also has a beautiful pond area, so our residents can enjoy the great outdoors. Through a partnership with Volunteers of America, our residents are offered volunteer opportunities such as paper posse projects.
The Windsor is nearby shopping, restaurants, and doctors offices.
The Windsor offers both social and medical transportation to both our independent and assisted living residents. Each week, our residents are given rides to the grocery, banks, post office, cleaners, and shopping centers. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we provide rides to doctor appointments in the Mandeville/Covington area.
Our chefs have won the Recipe Rumble competition with their outstanding shrimp and grits. Our independent and assisted living residents have the same choices. For lunch, in addition to the 2 entrees offered, our residents can also order from a salad menu, sandwich menu, or baked fish or chicken on any given day.,
Our dining room staff makes us exceptional. All of our staff really knows all of our residents.
We have emergency pull cords and check in features, We can offer 2 hour visuals on our assisted living residents if needed. Residents have an access code for entering the building after hours.
It is a real relationship between our residents, their families, and our staff. Communication can be in person, by phone, or e-mail depending on the situation.
We have staff here 24 hours a day.
We are a no pets community. A pet can visit, but it is never allowed to spend the night.
Our staff receives multiple trainings - First aid and safety training, CPR training, elder abuse awareness training, food safety, Alzheimer's training , and many others.
We do not have a memory care section. We would not have someone here who wanders. Our residents can come and go as they please.
