Situated in a 10-acre gated campus with beautifully landscaped grounds, Montclair Park offers retirees a safe, tranquil place to call home. This physician-owned senior community in southeast Shreveport is just about 2 miles from Christus Highland Medical Center, Willis-Knighton Pierremont Health Center and major shopping centers on Louisiana Highway 1. Its separate assisted living and memory care neighborhoods have their own outdoor spaces, each one featuring a large private pond with resident swans and ducks. Pets are welcome in the community. Montclair Park Assisted Living and The Chateaus at Montclaire are staffed by qualified nurses and CNAs, and their day-to-day operations are overseen by physicians. Medication administration services are provided by the full-time nursing staff, and frequent resident checks may be performed every hour when needed. Residents are offered recreational, social and cultural activities, including Wednesday shopping trips and Friday happy hours with hors d'oeuvres.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Montclair is home for residents of at least 50 years of age and above, wanting various levels of care. We try our best to accommodate everyone who wishes to live here. They like to play games together, socialize and do creative activities that our Activity Director does with them. Some of them also enjoy playing the piano.
We have all sorts of activities here such as, bingo, happy hour, musical entertainment, puppet shows, performances from local choirs, various religious services, games, etc.
Montclair is in a GREAT location, just off of Youree drive near the major shopping metro area in the city. Great restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, Walmart, fast food chains, and hospitals are all nearby.
We provide transportation for our residents to medical appointments, outings, and have shopping days on Wednesdays. You're more than welcome to take your loved one to their appointment or have us take them and meet them there. We pick them up as well and bring them back home.
Our residents can enjoy meals in our beautiful and bright dining room, where the servers will take their orders from the menu or they can select the prepared meal of the hour. They will enjoy all types of cuisines, from American, Mexican, Italian, Asian, as well as good ol southern & cajun cooking!
We are fully staffed around the clock with direct service workers and certified nursing assistants. We also have LPNs, and a Director of Nursing. We have and emergency call system, so that any resident can immediately notify staff they need assistance. We also have security personnel overnight.
Family members that have the proper authorization are kept informed in a number of ways. We are so lucky that our administrator is also one of the owners! He sends out emails with status updates regarding what's going on with the facility, especially amid this Covid-19 pandemic. Family members can also call and speak with their loved ones, or a member of the staff at any time.
At Montclair, we encourage our residents to bring their pets. Of course we can't have aggressive pets here, but residents are welcome to have mild mannered, well behaved pets. We have lots of outdoor space and a huge beautiful courtyard for walking and enjoying warm sunny days.
Our staff receives training throughout the year in areas of, Basic Food & Nutrition, Safety, Dementia and many other topics. We also have providers to come to our property and do live on-site in-service training.
For residents who have a serious form of dementia and are at risk of wandering, we have a Memory Care Facility next door to Montclair.
