With on-site physical therapy and nurses on-staff, Sunrise of Columbia's assisted living community enjoys robust support. With this aid, residents may join neighbors and staff for trips to a nearby mall and theaters. On-campus, the Live with Purpose program provides a holistic schedule of events, including snow cone socials, exercise programs, a walking club and Crocheting for a Cause charity events. Neighbors may meet in the bistro with a piano, activity room and sun porch to enjoy their daily routines. In the dining room, the culinary staff prepares diet-friendly meals based on residents' preferences and provides holiday meals and special brunches every month.
