FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our Resident Care Director will do an assessment prior to residents moving in and will assess again once the resident is in the community for 3-4 weeks. Ongoing assessments will be conducted every six months or as needed.
We do have a doctor that she or her nurse practitioner is here once per week from Mount Auburn Hospital.
Every detail, from the color of the plates, to the atmosphere to the appealing menu designed by our chef provides the nutrition they need and the relaxing experience that makes mealtime an important part of the day. We can do feeds as well as modified diets including purees.
The dining room is opened from 7 am to 7 pm and residents can enjoy a meal between those times. We have an extensive menu to order off of or daily specials. We also can offer modified diets including feeds and purees.
We do offer shuttle service for our residents to appointments in the local area as well as into Boston, if we know in advance. The shuttle also does field trips throughout the week including a weekly visit to Market Basket if residents would like to go grocery shopping.
Currently, we have 5 resident care associates during the day, 4 in the evening and 3 at night for our 25 residents. We also have a director on the floor, 1 dedicated nurse from 6 am - 10 pm and one on call in the overnight hours. A program coordinator is on staff to create activities and experiences for residents.
This varies, depending on the care needs of our residents. We have resident care associates on the floor 24 hours a day and a nurse on the floor from 6 am to 10 pm and one on call in the over night hours.
We do permit dogs and cats, as long as the resident can care for them.

We have a lively and robust programming schedule offered seven days per week with a wide variety of activities and field trips.
