Opening in the fall of 2015, Traditions of Beavercreek brings a desirable new senior living option to the residents of Beavercreek and greater Dayton. Our rolling and wooded 20 acre campus near the northeast corner of Grange Hall Road and Shakertown Road will provide multiple living and care options, including independent living, assisted living and memory care.
The natural progression through the Traditions of Beavercreek community starts with independent living garden home residences. When a resident requires intermittent or routine healthcare services, he or she can move directly into our assisted living residences. Traditions of Beavercreek will also offer individualized memory care services in a secure environment for residents. This allows families to enjoy spending time with loved ones rather than struggling at home trying to meet the care needs of their family member on their own.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our IL residents are welcome to enjoy any common area in our community.
We are not contracted with any agency but can offer assistance in finding a good fit for our residents and their families.
We have a Memory Care Activities Director that solely works with our Memory Care residents. We also offer The Varietas® Memory Care Program that relies on the things we learn about your loved one to comfort and connect with them in a warm and nurturing environment.
We have a bus and a driver who will take our residents to their individual appointments as well as planned activities.
If our AL residents are beginning to show signs of wandering we would have a conversation with the resident's family about a possible move to our memory care neighborhood which is secured.
We have a Memory Care Director that is a nurse that works during the day as well as another nurse that is only assigned to Memory Care. There are also 2-3 personal care assistants on staff both day and night.
Our staff will keep families updated with any change or concern immediately.
The staff in our memory care are trained Dementia Care Practitioners.
We require our staff to eat along side our residents so that we can help and encourage them at meal times. We also have aroma therapy and musical stimulation during meals.
Our community is located in a beautiful location. There is nature all around and a beautiful courtyard specifically for our Memory Care residents.
We have shopping, restaurants, theaters, and concert venues all within a 15-mile radius of our community. These are all things our residents enjoy.
We are not affiliated with a local hospital.
Our Memory Care Director provides the assessment for all our memory care residents. There is a pre-admission assessment and then we will do an assessment every 6 months or as needed with changes in condition.
We do a monthly training with our care staff on different aspects of senior care. Transfer training, dementia training, etc.
Our residents are mostly in their 80's. They love to participate in our various activities and our daily happy hour!
All IL garden homes have their own yards for animals to enjoy.
We offer different church services, grief counseling, and brain health activities. We also offer daily exercise classes.
Our dining department desires to create an environment where our residents are excited to eat with us in our restaurant styled dining room. Our specials are meals that we have received input from our community and our everyday menu has staple items on it that can be ordered as desired.
Our IL residents are welcome to join us in our dining room for any meal.
Daytime is 16:1
Nighttime is 30:1
We have a bus and a driver who will take our residents to their individual appointments as well as planned activities.
Traditions of Beavercreek is located in a protected wetlands with beautiful scenery. We aren't located near any walk-able locations, but we do have a bus that takes our residents to a variety of locations.
We have staff in the building 24/7. All of our residents receive emergency call buttons. All of the apartments are equipped with emergency call systems as well.
Our independent living residents are all provided with an emergency call button that will alarm to our building staff should they need assistance.
Our residents weekly go out to eat at restaurants of their choosing. We have visited the casino recently as well as weekly shopping trips!
We do accept animals and have courtyards and sidewalks around our community for animals to enjoy the outdoors. We do have a weight limit on the animals that call Traditions home.
Our IL residents range in age from 60's to 80's. They have their own activities and groups that they participate in as well as being welcome to participate in any activity that is on our community-wide schedule.
Our Memory Care Director communicates regularly with families about changes and observations. We also encourage families to visit often and be apart of our community and care.
