FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We desire that our residents enjoy their dining experience at Middleton. We offer restaurant styled dining that caters to our residents. There is a special offered for every meal as well as an every day menu that can be ordered off of as well.
Middleton is staffed by nursing staff 24/7. All of our residents are provided an emergency call button as well as every apartment is equipped with an emergency call system. All of our entry points are secured with keypad access only.
We encourage our staff to eat with our residents to help our residents with meal times. We will play music and use aroma therapy to stimulate appetite as well.
We do not work with an agency, but would be happy to provide referrals to residents and their families should the need arise over time.
Our independent living residents are welcome to enjoy any of the amenities that Middleton has to offer including our beauty salon, chapel, fitness center, theater room, and our daily happy hour in our pub.

All of our independent living cottages are surrounded by green space and walk paths for our residents and their animals to enjoy!
If there is a change or concern our memory care nursing staff will communicate quickly with families to keep them informed.
Middleton welcomes furry friends and there is plenty of green space surrounding our community for them to enjoy.
Just like our assisted living residents independent living residents get to enjoy the benefits of living minutes from both small town Granville and big city Columbus, Ohio.
Each independent living cottage and resident is equipped with a mobile emergency response system.
Our care staff is required to attend monthly sessions that train on different senior care topics.
We offer activities that enrich the body, mind, and soul. Daily exercise classes are offered, church services that appeal to many denominations, and activities that stimulate the brain.
Middleton has a wonderful assisted living community with residents ranging in age. There is a vibrant activities department that keeps our residents busy with a variety of activities.
The same transportation services that are offered to our assisted living residents is also offered to our independent residents. They are welcome to schedule transportation for appointments as well as using the transportation services as part of our scheduled activities.

Our dining room is open to both assisted living residents as well as independent residents. Our independent living cottages are equipped with beautiful kitchens, but if cooking is something a resident no longer enjoys doing they are welcome to eat in our restaurant styled dining room in the main building.
All of our Memory Care Staff received Certified Dementia Practitioner training.
Middleton is located in Granville near Columbus, Ohio. There is not anything within walking distance, but our residents do enjoy the Village of Granville that is very close. Granville is a quaint town that has local shops and restaurants. Also being close to the city of Columbus also allows are residents to enjoy city life as well.
Middleton does provide transportation to its residents. There can be scheduled transportation for appointments as well as transportation will be used for scheduled activities.
We offer the Varietas® Memory Care Program at Middleton which relies on the things we learn about your loved one to comfort and connect with them in a warm and nurturing environment.
The Varietas® Program is a model of caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and age-related memory impairments.
Our Memory Care Director will provide a pre-admission assessment. We then reassess every 6 months or as conditions change.
Middleton's activities department takes residents to shop, out to lunch, we attend a balance course at the Senior Center and we also offer to take our residents to concerts, orchestra performances and anything that that they might like doing.
