FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Bartlesville boasts a civic ballet, orchestra, choral society, playhouse as well as traveling Broadway shows. Bartlesville has a Frank Lloyd Wright skyscraper with a hotel and restaurant. Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips 66, built a world class museum and animal sanctuary. Bartlesville is home to many delicious local restaurants and fun shop[ping opportunities. There are wonderful Native American cultural events for all to enjoy.
Breakfast, 7 days a week, plus 30 additional meals per month per resident is included in the monthly fee. Residents will enjoy restaurant-style dining with table side service. The service is come and go at the residents' leisure during dining room hours. Each apartment has a full kitchen just in case a resident wants to prepare food at home. A third meal option is available.
There are 4 dining options each day with a large salad bar and soup option. Homemade desserts and breads are also offered from our culinary team.
Transportation if available weekdays for residents in the Bartlesville and Dewey areas for shopping, events, medical appointments and any other reason a resident may need transpiration. Transportation to Tulsa for physician appointments and trips to the airport are available for a fee.
Residents are given lavender or peppermint scented hand towels before meals. The residents are given small samples of soups salads as appetizers. There are options for meals, if a resident decides they wish for something different than what they ordered a change can be accommodated. Nursing and culinary staff can encourage and model eating during mealtimes. Residents who need special silverware to aid in eating can be accommodated..
Each employee who works in our memory care community is trained in Heartfelt Connections. This program was designed by Life Care Services, one of the leading senior care management companies in the country. This Signature Experience is grounded in a person-centered approach for individuals living with dementia that celebrates not just who these individuals are, but also who they were and who they can still become. A cornerstone of the Heartfelt Connections experience is focusing on what remains versus what has been lost.
The life enrichment team offers exercise, music classes, off campus trips, live music, spiritual enrichment with Bible studies and church services. There are games and events for all to enjoy. Many of our residents enjoy going to our civic events such as the ballet, choral society, plays and orchestra concerts.
Residents have a choice of what hospice company they choose. Green Country has good relationships with the hospices in the area.
Green Country is unique as we have security on site 24 hours a day. There is a lifeline system for residents to use and in case of an emergency, if a lifeline was alerted, a staff member would come directly to the resident to assess the situation and call 911 if necessary.
The staff receives ongoing senior training that is required by the state.
Our separate memory care community on our assisted living campus. There is specialized training for our staff who care for our memory care residents.
Our assisted living residents enjoy an independent lifestyle with assistance with medication and personal care if needed. We have an open community with transportation, life enrichment, laundry services and wonderful people who live and work at Green Country. There is a separate secured memory care community on our assisted living campus.
Family members can call the charge nurse anytime during night or day. The families are welcome to visit their loved one at anytime. Emails and newsletters are also used to inform loved ones about what is going on at Green Country Village.
There is shopping close to Green Country. We offer 26 acres of trails and ponds for our residents to enjoy.
Green Country Village is situated on 26 acres in the middle of a residential area. Land was donated by churches, so the green space is protected. There is shopping very close by. It's like being out in the country in the middle of town.
There are 4 offerings each day for our assisted living residents with salad and soup as well. Three meals a day are provided. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or delivered to the resident's apartment at no additional charge.
Residents have choices of their personal care duty providers and home health providers. The staff at Green Country Village has a great relationship with the caregivers in our area.
Residents have visited the Tall Grass Prairie Reserve, Pawhuska (home of the Pioneer Woman), gone to Tulsa to enjoy museums and restaurants recently. Of course, residents love to go sightseeing around our community and pick up an occasional ice cream cone or soft drink!

There is an enclosed dog park as well as walking trails on 26 acres of land. All animals must be kept on a leash indoors when out of the apartments.
Not only are the family members invited to visit at anytime day or night, the charge nurse's phone number is shared with them. Families can call staff at any time. Emails and newsletters are shared with families and friends.
Our independent living residents are active in the community and at Green Country Village. They enjoy onsite and offsite life enrichment activities. There are exercise classes, educational and spiritual opportunities for our residents as well. They enjoy musical guests, crafts, book clubs and fellowship opportunities.
Living room, dining room, work out room, craft room, library, billiards and game room, club room, chapel, private dining room, grill deck, dog park, salon,26 acres with walking trail, pond and convenience store are just a few common areas for residents. There are also small sitting areas all around the community for social time.
Our nursing staff evaluates residents within 30 days of moving in, 2 weeks after moving in and annually or if a resident has a health or mental change. The family and resident can also request an evaluation at anytime.
There are several life-enrichment activities for our residents in Lakeview Memory Care. Singing, art, spiritual services, guest entertainers as well as offsite trips are offered daily. We IN2L Person-Centered Technology in our community where residents stay engaged through programming especially for those residents who have dementia or other cognitive issues.
Pets are not permitted in our assisted living and memory care communities. Animals are always welcome to come visit.
There is nursing staff on site 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There is onsite security 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our lifeline system is answered by our nursing staff not only for emergencies but for other needs that our residents may have.
